A hug from you always ends too soon.

A glance from you makes the heart melt.
A glance from you makes a guy thankful, for the cards that were delt.

A kiss from you... unexplainable.
And now a kiss from you... unobtainable.

funny how life goes, a girl like you
would make a guy stray from dirty hoes.

A girl like you can drive any boy insane.
Without a girl like you, everything is plain.

A girl like you could breathe life.
I thought a girl like you could be my wife.

A girl like you is the one I love.
Skin so soft, like feathers of a dove.

but like a dove, they fly away.
And now that feeling of gay,
that you brought to me all those days,
have now gone painfully away.
