Eunuch Love (The Girl I Saw I Could Not Forget It) Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

Eunuch Love (The Girl I Saw I Could Not Forget It)

I generally see eunuchs
But try to avert the gaze from
Looking them,
But one day
While travelling by train,
I could not resist my temptation,
Infatuation for one of them
Who was a teenaged maid
But no doubt fair and lovely,
Sober, coy and modest
So shy and gentle
And wheatish, brownish,
But one thing I could not
Why was she an eunuch?
