I could watch your footsteps evaporate,
Over the sands and past the wind,

I could sit here for the world and wait,
But theres no use anymore,

Theres not much anymore to change,
This is when I'm at my worst,

When we all fall down with the comming of age,
We tend to look at things different,

but I could still watch your footsteps evaporate,
Over the sands and past the wind,
Only hoping things between us never change,
