You kiss her

Every time you touch
Her
Smile
at her



A tiny piece of me goes
It breaks away

Floats

I am adrift without an anchor

Without a sail
Without a wind


I am adrift

I don't shatter
I break
Crumble
A star dying
There is no fix

No going back
No music for me
I want my colors and my birdsong

I want you darling

I want you to
Touch
Smile
Eyes crinkle

But you do that to her

That is ok
Because you still smile

And your smile is all


Even if you smile at her
