Even Tho You'Re Gone Poem by bobby beddoe

Even Tho You'Re Gone

Yesterday I went shopping, just me, during the onslaught,
To buy things you’ve always wanted for Christmas I thought.
Checked all the stores for good sales,
Found a pretty ring in Zales;
But, like your gifts the past six years - it remained unbought!
