Even Though I Walk Through The Us Valley Of The Shadow Of Death - Poem by michael spangenberg

A black swan event
Unexpected catastrophe
11/8 is the new 9/11.

Vox Populi, Vox Dei
The voice of the people
Is the voice of God.

Contradicting the Good Lord
The good people of America
The democratic majority
The Electoral College has spoken.

With a reactionary Supreme Court
40-years+ of Godless repression ahead.
The valley of the founding father's burning
Nonchalantly witnessed by US firefighters.

God's must be hiding somewhere, perhaps
In King James Bible version of Psalm 23.

Lady Justice's kissing mercy
Is gang-raped By the Law
Spoiled-brat Law makers with
Empathy of mortar-and-bricks.

Homo homini lupus revisited
A big wolf in sheep's clothing
became full-time predator again

You want it darker
Leonard Cohen said
Well, you got it baby.

'If you are the dealer
I'm out of the game
If you are the healer
It means I'm broken and lame
If thine is the glory
Then mine must be the shame.
You want it darker
We kill the flame.'
