Everlasting Perdition Poem by Habib Ibrahim

Everlasting Perdition

Everlasting Perdition
By: Habib Ibrahim (1999)

Satan had a new turn
That caused deeds to burn.
Seducing the Chosen Seed
That adorned the gold god(calf)
Remember not they the afore graces
Conferred on them for eras:
Graced with prophetic succession
Inhabited Egypt where they were received.

Pharaoh had slain them in groups
And deflowered women chastity,
God knows where to sow the seed,
As He gave Moses distinct signs;
The stick that into a snake turned,
And his hand pure white turned,
Pharaoh at his crown bullied
And forgot he was a mere spot of blood.
The word of God at sea echoed,
Drowning the dictator dead.

They marched with evil steps,
Asking Moses to see God
Grace deniers were stiffly thundered.
They gave other pledges,
Tur* and clouds over them shadowed,
Manna and quail over crowned the graced.
Twelve springs the rock flew
That each his share knew.
The cow was yellow
They obstinately refused to obey
And that only to slay.

Everlasting perdition pursued those
Whose deeds to Satan were close.
Interest replaced the true guide,
And Torah no longer _____ abode,
Their crooked ____________mode
What is waiting seems greater
When lives end to the Hereafter.

Gold god: The gold calf which Moses's followers worshiped when Satan disguised them.
Tur: A mountain / Sinai mountain
