Everlasting Verses Poem by Natasa To

Everlasting Verses

Everlasting Verses

Between the silence and the sound,
I found a world of words—
where broken hearts could still be whole,
and dreams could still be heard.

I gathered moments, one by one,
like stars against the night,
and turned the tears I could not speak
to verses burning bright.

Some poems carry echoes
of a love that once was near,
some hold the weight of yesterday,
some whisper through the years.

And every page remembers
what time may try to erase—
a fleeting smile, a distant touch,
a name, a voice, a face.

For ink may fade, and seasons change,
and years may disappear,
but words that rise from deepest hearts
can live beyond the years.

So let these verses wander
wherever hearts may roam,
let strangers find their own reflection
in the words I call my home.

And when the final page is turned,
let one truth still remain:

What is written from the soul
can never die in vain.

These are more than poems—
they are pieces of my heart,
little flames against the dark,
that time cannot depart.

And so I leave them here for you,
through every age and weather—
Everlasting Verses,
where words and souls live forever.
