Every New Dawn



The sun rises warm and golden
Gleaming into the bedroom window
Pulling out of a dream
Slipping away into a darkness
Suddenly the noise of the world
Fills the void left by the dream
With a subtle shudder
Light illuminates the senses
Awaken to this day
And be glad that you can.
So the thought ran...
