Every Single Little Thing - Poem by Colm Quinn

Life is for living!
Not for boredom,
You only get one life
We have to follow your dreams
Happiness is close at hand,
So Chase it! Chase it!
All the way,
Grab it, Gaze at it, hold it up by the hips,
Smack it on the ass and kiss it on the lips,
Don’t hold it gently
Squeeze it tight
Because soon it will run away,
And you must chase it! Chase it!
All over again,
With or without a smile on your face,
This isn't fair and it isn't right,
We are living fucked up lives,
But that's what you get for being human,
This life goes from slow to absolutely zooming,

What is so great about this life?
Every single little thing,
Even the bad times,
As long as you feel them,
Breath them and live them,
The good and the bad,
And every single little thing.
