Everyday Poem by Rebekah Strunk

Everyday is a fight, a struggle to stay alive.

Everyday I try not to think about my past and all the pain in my past.

Everyday I try not to think about cutting, hurting, or killing myself.

Everyday I try to think about the future and all the good things that can happen to me in the future.

Everyday is a new day and another day that I live.

Everyday is like a second chance to make things right and another chance to live.

Everyday can be a good day or a bad day for me but hopefully soon it will just be all good day and hardly any bad days.

Everyday is a fight, a struggle to stay alive but every day I get stronger then I was the day before.

Everyday is another step towards recovering and not cutting any more.

Everyday is a new day.
