Everyone But Me Poem by jordan saling

Everyone But Me

I wasn't old enough to understand.
You were dying and everyone knew,
Everyone but me.
I knew something was wrong.
But everyone else knew what was wrong,
Everyone but me.
You left on the plane to Portland.
All the people there were scared,
Everyone but me.
I only saw you one more time
for one final good-bye. We all gathered and cried,
Even Me.
