Everyone Has A Story To Tell Poem by Genice Lorraine De Fabriciano

Everyone Has A Story To Tell

Some People talk about others-constantly
Others talk about themselves-incessantly
-better known as a narcissist-
Some people talk about the past
-and live there too-
Others talk about the future
Always as they dream and plan
Hey!
Let's talk about-now!
Not behind a camera
Or on social media
Take a look in the mirror
What do you see?
Is someone looking back at me?
Free yourself from accessories
Dance!
Sing!
Live out Loud!
Be the main character
In your own screenplay
Let's talk about today
With the hope and assurance
Of a brand new day
With the promise of everlasting life
Free from worldly distractions
Being in the moment
Because you and I
We won't be taking any of this with us
Naked we came into this world
Naked will we leave

Live to tell your story
What will your story be?
