Ciao!
My friend had a darling clothing store
with sparkly jewels, accessories, gifts
donning designer contemporary clothing
then one day her dream flew away
despite letting go to her loathing

she had the shop for many years
and yes, I saw, that there were tears
her customer ties disintegrated
slowly those day to day relationships
screeched to an abrupt halting end
into the abyss of life's tomorrow
she felt such loss and sorrow
for they had become her friend

now, she spends with family
her store far in the past
reminisces at times about that life
not all a connection of wasted past
she has thirty close confidants left
unless you count the uber many
on her social media accounts

I wonder what my friend
is up to these days
I think I'll give her a call
