Everything Poem by Ong Kar Jin

Everything

It's raining like it's never rained before,
and the wind's blowing, trying to rip the floor,
The waves are crashing, thunder on the shore,
but Baby, you're all I hear, will hear, and heard forever more.

The kids are playing on the street,
lovers making out on their seats,
dogs munching on pieces of meat,
But Baby, you're the only one I met, and will ever meet.

Bombs blowing up everywhere,
Gangs fighting here and there,
Idiots killing over the black and fair,
But no, Baby, you're all I care, yeah.

The world's in fire, sighing, falling,
There're bad guys, robbing, killing,
And I'm here, rotting, slowly dying,
'Cause Baby, you're my something, my nothing, my everything.

And I'm ready to do anything, for ya' darling... Anything...
