Everything I Ever Wished (Sonnet #50) Poem by Tina Baaklini

Everything I Ever Wished (Sonnet #50)

Forgone is the world, your heart is my home
Your love is everything I ever wished
Ah, let's go to Gondola rides in Rome
Where love vows are shared, forever cherished

Blessed I am, you embrace me as I am
Soulmates we are, pillars to each other
Of our sacred bond I write my poems
What a great friend you are! What a lover!

All people pass by me, you pass through me
No one but you, knows, cares, waters my heart
Our two hearts beat in synchronicity
Feels in heaven celebrating our start

As my best mirror lies in your sweet eyes
A voyage between your arms is my best prize
