Everything Inbetween Poem by felix paintwhenpainted

Everything Inbetween

one day i had a dream while asleep
of paint that did drip dropp and creep
down stairs and concrete
out the door and into the street
it mixed and swirled with paints from other places
dripping down from clowns faces
and as it mixed and blended
my minds limits ended
out of the concoction arose the new world
colourful and powerful, wiping out the old
creatures!
believers!
religions!
pigeons!
wars!
sores!
life!
strife!
and everything inbetween!
another world could be seen...
but then i took away the colours and fabulous smiles
i saw corruption, and everything that it eventually defiles
and i knew
that the world is lost but for a few
that nothing improves
just moves
that the world never flies
just slowly dies
that every new hope
is just another bumpy ride down the slope
that all great discoveries
are forgotten in exchange for fallacies
that most of us never reach the sky
just shrivel up and painfully die
