Evidence Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

Evidence

Life's sweet and short
Little easy, little serious
Little light, little tight
Little sweet, little sour
Little tasty, little bitter.

How sweet and how short
Hanging in balance
As, driven by the years
One-to-one, heart-to-heart
If, age is just a number.

How tall and how small
Nothing's illogical
Magical or comical
To spring a surprise-
For some it's a fun
And others' an uphill task.

How calm and how peaceful
Wonderful and fantastic-
All is decked-up to get up
Amid the tears and tides
Showing not the door-
Since, living is also an art
Key thereof lies in the mind.

Life's sweet and short
Where, soul is not available
To answer-
Soil being the viable evidence.
