Evoe Kore Poem by Diana Thoresen

Evoe Kore

They donned on Aphrodisian
Necklaces and danced
For the wilderness

Stripped of Art Deco royalty
And celluloid white doves
Sharon Tate wove herself

Into brothy tea leaves filled
With sparkling diamante waves
Who wanted a dead Madonna?

The wilderness, most likely.
