Exams Poem by Juliet Tun

Exams

The heat from the afternoon sun
Angers me
Irritates me
This melancholic Summer day
I hope for rain
Waiting
Waiting
My life is going nowhere
My career must go somewhere
Waiting to prosper economically
The exams
I wait to take the exams
The rules made illegally
Jealousy of old idiots
Envy of young idiots
They resent the smart students
Waiting.
