Except After C Poem by kwane Lamb

Except After C

Speaking of being on one’s …
P’s and Q’s…
I think I am very confused…
Is it not…”I before E”…
In all it’s glory…
Where has the balance gone…
Is being intimate now on a cell phone…
Reminds me of the (habit) …
In Alice of wonderland…”I must hurry…
Hurry, hurry…O’ my look at the time”…
Are we not just winding the key stuck…
In our backs, which is clearly in our minds…
My how the world and people change…
Eat produce and gain a caboose…
And the preachers and clergy are getting loose…
I can’t be reading the story of (old mother goose) …
Does the Sun really remain in one place…
If so why… does rise in my face…
Is it me or the earth who rotates…
Oh, it’s me and my dates…
There nothing new under the Sun…
Or was Solomon… just having fun…
Is it true…From Heaven Satan has run…
Now the Pope is having children by Nuns…
Weapons claimed and not found…
And troops are walking the grounds…
Speaking of one’s p’s and q’s…
Is it really (pints and quarts) …
Or letters from the press… of sorts…
Has God really put us…to test…
Male and Female at best…
Praise to earth’s… female guest…
