Exiled Poem by Matthew Petranovich

Exiled

Rating: 0.5

I'm exiled.
do you know what that means,
that means I'm cast out off society,
cause they don't want me anymore,
I'm a nobody,
and im really poor,
And I know that I won't,
get anywhere,
cause life,
its hard, messed up, and unfair,
I hate to tear my heart out,
but at this point,
I really don't care,
I'm wallowing in despair,
I need to repair my life,
cause this joint,
ain't gettin me no where,
and I would really hate to disappoint,
my family,
I hate to cause them pain,
They know I got a lot to gain,
and a lot to learn,
I don't want to burn,
my future away,
when i keep smokin this weed everyday,
I can see it startin to decay,
and if I don't clean it up,
in the future I will pay,
and now i got to sleep,
I hope tomorrow will be a better,
day
