Expectations - Poem by Cierra Piasecki

The girl was sitting
In her room on a spring day
Stuck behind her tasks
She was worried about A
Z, stressed with expectations

The seasons have changed
It was now summer and warm
No stress for the girl
And no high expectations
The girl made her dreams happen

Topic(s) of this poem: girl, school

Form: Tanka
