Explosion Of Love Poem by Meagan Peters

Explosion Of Love

Rating: 5.0

When I battle with the question, what is love?
I feign to think I think that thought.
The answer I found haply
Betwixt and between pledge never to love.
Then scales torn off my eyes when I laid them on you.

A sudden explosion of feeling so in love with you.

That unpredictable spate.

We wowed, we wooed, we love pursued
Our thing that sings of fairies and kings
We graced the face of lover's embrace
Though thought love wrought nought bliss

That unpredictable spate.

That sudden explosion of feeling so in love with you

Through inner conflicts you stayed by my side,
Through bitter disappointments I caused.
Although you frayed you never flayed
Stayed strong believed in us.
Thank you for saving my true love
Indebted to you my life I give freely

This sudden explosion of feeling still so in love with you.
