Eyes Poem by Susan Alldred Lugton

Eyes

Rating: 3.8

Eyes,
windows to the soul.
Eyes,
that take their toll.

Eyes,
now gazing at us.
Eyes,
soft, loving us

Eyes,
now staring at us.
Eyes,
hard, hating us.

Eyes,
now closed off to us.
Eyes,
rejecting us.
.
Eyes,
returning to us.
Eyes,
now healing us.

Eyes,
windows to the soul
Eyes,
that can see us.
