Eyes Are All Around Poem by Michael P. Johnson

Eyes Are All Around

We’ve tried to run we’ve try to hide
Living a life of crime
But God has promised to abide
Beyond the end of time

Still some will seek the gloom of night
Shadows by light of day
Trying to flee The Father’s sight
Who’s never far away

Though wisdom tells us not to try
Yet still we break God’s law
Hoping to flee the wrath on high
Scheming still more and more

We kill we cheat we steal and lie
Break each our Father’s rules
Though He who lives, will still be nigh
When many burn as fools

Though Jesus loves us one and all
And hates to see us fail
He’ll still be God though countless fall
In hell’s eternal jail

He’ll hear them squeal He’ll watch them squirm
Screaming for all they’re worth
He’ll watch each never dying worm
Cursing their day of birth

We’ve no excuse the warning’s out
For this Christ Jesus died
Its not the time to live in doubt
Its time to turn the tide

Seek truth find love find Heaven’s grace
Accept God’s Lamb as Lord
Repent and see our Maker’s face
And flee His vengeful sword
