Eyes Expanded Poem by Michael Lester

Eyes Expanded

Eyes expanded,
Mind illuminated.

Is this imagined?
Is this fated?

Is this it,
Is this just a glimpse?

Nothing in the world matters,
But this.

Intuition, that there is no ‘I',
Life is looking at itself through its own eyes.

And all is well in this soup of peace,
For all but a moment did the person cease?
