You turned and gave me a look—a look that could cure all sadness
And everything around me ceased to exist and melted into stillness
In your eyes the world has infinite love
In your eyes is the promise of hope
In your eyes true faith does exist
In your eyes nil heart can resist
Through every day and night we share
I close my eyes and picture you there
Sitting transversely from me—looking into mine
Showing the love of endless time
And I know at that moment that I am loved
In your eyes my heart can’t resist
In your eyes perpetual faith does exist
In your eyes is the pledge of hope
In your eyes the world is bursting again
