A Rose Poem by Brian Matico

A Rose

You are a rose amoungst the weeds
'tis odium on which your blossom feeds
Fragrant fresh and deprecating with dew
Petals indolent and always a new
The day doth break-you're natural again
your facade unfurls-you imbibe it in
If you open up-just spill your dew
Others might see the true beauty in you
