Fabricated Princess Poem by Summer Sandercox

Fabricated Princess

Rating: 5.0

Put on your happiest face
And your finest tailored dress
Apply on that make up
You have people to impress

Wear your biggest smile
Be as polite as you've been taught
Act as lively as you've practiced
Pretend and don't get caught

Laugh and dance so happy
Sit steadily, stand tall
You're almost done now
You can't let that tear fall

Smile and beam till it hurts
So that no one will ever know
The tears you're drowning in
The scars you're not allowed to show

Walk in those shoes
Like you belong where you are
Your destiny is designed
You're not going very far

That jeweled crown on your head
Captures a million envious eyes
Adorned with pearls and rare diamonds
Polished and glossed with lies.
