Face Poem by sabin roy

Face

I looked out the window
And I saw her face
Soaked in rain from heavens above
I saw her smile, as water dripped her face
And I saw her twinge, as lightning struck below
I closed my eyes-
Taking in her fear
Then, I saw her cry-
Her tears christening the forbidden land
I saw the drizzle
Kissing her face and melting away
And as the rays of the august sun-
Blurred into my eyes
I looked out my window
And I saw her face
Cocooned in the last dropp of the drizzle-
Flowing down my window sill.
