Reminiscing the beauty,
the heart's not in sight.
Ravishing was the sovereignty
when the sight was more than bright.
Kept the future off the pace,
as optimistic was the rain
Mind kept dreaming of the face,
which was run by the brain.
Freedom was a sparkling ray,
stars were gazed by the eyes.
Liberal mind loitered away,
but heart searched for fireflies.
Obstructions had their way ahead,
and so we had in anyway.
We knew how hard the liberty was laid,
so we had lot of dues left to pay.
The ravishing face faded away
leaving the ugly traces of fright
Evil took over the sun's ray,
along with the country's clerisy and bright.
