A void in the heart that will never be filled
bleeds half-faced, whirling-diamond yearnings
my skull could not touch
And I a man full of curiosity
with dazzling stars of confusion anchored
into my hand
In awe
Like a frozen statue
by its sort of complexity
Excelling itself as
though gold bullion in the
sea of rusted known and familiarity.
What a walkless walk!
to seal it and cease it
from bleeding like a roaring cascade
What a bootless errand!
to please its ethereal,
incorporeal thirst.
My black existence being chased
by the ebb of fleeting time rushing
in the horse-speed fraction of seconds.
Is embracing it a peculiar luxury?
Shall I let it live, breed, and prey throughout eternity
beknownst that its crave merely futility?
It's hard to deny its ageless ambiguity
that never subsides
hungrier at solitary subdued
nights in the twilight
of artificiality and
naturality
It's even hard to deny its fire
as fierce as an injured bear
never did I see flickers
as though daring to be desired
like a mysterious shadow in the tangerine lights
of an empty street arousing suspicion
I could not even tell
what matters more:
its unidentifiable feeling or the feeling of nothing at all.
Years and years of exhilarating odyssey
of the barbed-wire mind in prowl
for an answer
Numerous sleepless
nights of sleepy eyes
now sleeping
to the petal-by-petal acceptance
under the very blanket of its
lingering mystery.
I could never see its face
I could never see its face
I could never see its face.
Nevertheless, nevertheless
Blessed those who injected it into my heart
the Gods, the Moon. the Being
though not meant to be grasped
but rather to be felt
its blazing entity, its mosquito-like malignancy.
It has been here, always been here
like an outlandish tickle in the armpit by a faceless angel dear
or simply a fat naughty mole on the ear
or a soul-stirring kick of a fetus in the mother's womb, screaming:
' Mommy, I am here,
I am here.'
