Facing Me Poem by Daisy Cueva

Facing Me

Roses of every color white, peach, pink, and red.
With every step of my garden grows a new flower
that is full of beauty and meaning.

With beauty facing me and the beast inside of me.
I stand still to see just what my has
in store for me.

When the first freeze comes my flowers
and garden dispersed, into something
more unique.Instead of summer with all the colors.

I am now surrounded by new meaning and beauty
of falling into the winter freeze.
Snow covering dead trees and the very sight
of ice forming on the honey bees.

I think of the new colors of the trees, roses, daisies,
and of sweet honey suckle bushes. That are now
with snow and frost. Just to only wish for summer
to see more beauty that faces me.
