Facing My Fears Poem by Tom Ferguson

Facing My Fears

Rating: 0.5

Jumping off a cliff

Climbing to the top was just the start of my fears
My heart was jumping out of my chest
My feet trembling more with every step
I couldn’t look down, because of my fear to drown

I got to the top and looked around
I was about 200 feet off the ground
I took a step back and wanted to get down
But my friends, told me to just jump down

Sweat running down my face
But I took a step back, and held my breath
I closed my eyes and jumped
I hit the water came back up

I had faced one of my greatest fears
