Thomas Hooker

Faded Rose - Poem by Thomas Hooker

Between the shadows
a faded rose,
a secret dried inside,
the bloom gone long ago,
sleeping in the universe,
behind the years,
obscure and absent.
to leave again,
this time
alone.
