Fading Poem by Danielle Franklin

Fading

Rating: 5.0

Im slowly fading away
Although I want to stay I cant
Death and life have both come
All life will change except mine
I will watch them come change then grow
Their hair will turn gray and their faces will wrinkle,
But I will stay the same
They will age then die
And they will all wonder why I stay the same while they change
They will cast me away because I have eternal life youth and beauty
I fade away like the shadow in light
And yet Ill always be here to stay
But maybe......
Ill fade away with them some day.
