Fading Into The Dark Poem by Tisha Edwards

The light that used to shine
seems to be getting dim
Alone in the darkness
now is where I am

He wants to wrap his cloak
around my neck so tight
I'm beginning to get so tired
I can't put up much more of a fight

Each day the sun rises
I exhale a sigh of relief
But soon the darkness will win
that is my true belief

I feel his breathe upon my neck
as the night slowly creeps in
No longer will I see the light
now is when my hell begins
