Fading Light Poem by Sunny Nanyeni

Fading Light

Rating: 1.5

Dwindling light.
Another lonely night.
Another hopelessly moon.
Drowning is the love we had in the ocean of excuses.
The future is sailing along the river of tears with half-mast flags.
The past and deceived emotions are becoming friends.
All alone with my thoughts, my heart and hopes commence to soar.
The path I thought we would forever walk get to be narrower,
What happened to us?
The dark is the I have to habituate.
