Fairer Than Ten Thousand Poem by Kevin Cox

Fairer Than Ten Thousand

Fairer than ten thousand
Is my Lord to me.
I shall sing His praises
Throughout eternity.

He is ever with me
As I walk down here below.
Of His grace and of His mercy
I shall live my life to show.

His majesty is stunning.
His voice thunders from on high.
With all my heart I shall adore Him
With arms lifted to the sky.

He is with me every moment.
There is no tear He doesn't see.
With Him I'll dwell forever
In sublime eternity.

Every angel sings Of His glory
Every moment 'fore His throne.
Amazed at His perfect beauty
Which is His and His alone.

How can my lips be silent
And of Him never to tell.
Of Him our Intercessor
Who on Earth did all things well.

Oh, if only you would hear Him
He who calls with still small voice
And make Him your Ebenezer
To the chorus add your voice.

Few the days that we shall tarry
On our way down here below.
Let's redeem each precious moment
His matchless glory ours to show

Then 'ere comes the day awaited
When we are called to be with Him
May there be ten thousand others
Who we their souls did win.
