Fairie Festival Poem by Justin Gildow

Fairie Festival

Welcome to the Fairie Festival
Where kubiando is the most well known word
Where many come and gather from all around the world
Where some of the flowers grow to the size of trees
Towering over you
Towering over me

Ribbons are tied around the wooden fences
Streamers are tangled in the trees
Bubbles from the bubble machine are created and fly and flutter through the air
As well as making their way to the sky

Grab a ribbon and dance around the maypole
Immortalize it in a picture and it's a sight to behold

Join hands for the Earth Healing Ceremony
We'll joine hands and close our eyes
Thinking of the many wonders we can do for the world
Thinking of these special times for Beltane

We'll take a seat
And go for a round of the Fairy Tea Party
We'll have strawberry tea and iced cupcakes
And listen to stories and poetry about the wonderful fairies

Before we leave
Let's pay a visit to the Fairy City
They'll greet us on our walk
As we pass by their homes

As we leave
The fairies bid us well
And they'll say their goodbyes

We leave through the entrance
As the fairies unleash their magic to the sky
