Faith Poem by Doug Seagle

Faith

Shadows lurk as the moon arises
Confidence cowers as daylight flees
Fear of darkness,
what lays in the wake to surprise us?
Nothing, not a single creature stirs about.
No bumps in the night to strike fear
we just need someone to trust
We both know, we've both been here
Im reaching in the
darkness, feeling for your hand, grab hold, dont let go, I will see us
through...I will give all I can. The moon is our light, we'll see each other
through, each step we take, guided with trust and faith, we will make do. My
life is yours, I live for you, till I draw my last breath, this is what I will do. You dont have to see, just trust and grab my hand, cause thats what I do,
I am your man
