Fake Smile Poem by Daleen Irshaid

Fake Smile

In that dark night
Where there was no light

That was the place
Where that young gurl could remove that fake smile she draw on her face

Let her her feelings out of their place
And the tears roll over her face

Secrets stuck in her head
She wish she was dead

Memories roll over again and again
She's suffering from that pain

A new day comes over
She put that mask to cover

All the pain she's hidding
All the problems she's facing

As she force a smile, blink away the tears
She whispers I'm supposed to be strong, supposed to have no fears
