Fakir's Prayer Poem by Sumita Jetley

Fakir's Prayer

In the city's heart, where past and future sing,
A Sufi stands, a soul with ancient wing.
On modern stage, his spirit dances light,
Reflecting deep at dusk's embracing night.

From post to home, where letters weave their tale,
He sees the Divine in every detail.
Neither friend nor foe, just souls in kind,
In every gesture, the Creator's sign.

Amidst the steel, his garden blooms with life,
A sanctuary from the world's strife.
With tea in hand, the evening's glow to meet,
In every heart, the Divine's heartbeat
