Fallen Angel Poem by Kyra Hulsebus

Fallen Angel

Rating: 4.5

Lead by your own intelligence
Right off the top to descendence

You could fly
But your black wings are tangled in lies

The dark approaching is sullen
For you have fallen

Immobile and prone
Your heart is stone

But what about the one you protect?
Do they fit into the perfects?

Do they fit into your puzzle?
Into your life all muddled?

Full of danger
And anger

You the fallen angel
Constantly cheating death's angle

Can you love?
Or will you be undone?
