Falling Poem by Gabriella Voges

Falling

Rating: 5.0

I'm 200 000ft high
In the greyed leaden misty sky
Adrenaline pumping through my veins
Submerged in perilous danger
In my belly butterflies thump
I'm scared to fall
But what if I fly
I close my eyes and take the jump

I hop up in bed
Swimming in a pool of sweat
I sit up straight
And look ahead
Waking up filled me with regret
I'd do anything just to dream it again
