Falling Chards Of Glass By Gio Masserati Poem by Gio Masserati

Falling Chards Of Glass By Gio Masserati

Before I leave this earth
I intend to gaze
upon melting piles
of tainted colored glass
fallen from the decorum
of puffed up ceilings
chards will fall
from so high up
like snowflakes weeping
frozen icicles of time
while carrying on wings
future empowerment
with fire and ice
shaking off boundaries
bleeding systematic negligence
of a beguiled disquise
reaching far past the haze
of tolerating intolerance
removing masks of lies
replacing grandeur
revolutionary dream
attainable at last
transformational power
to break even the stone
cold hearted of a man

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
My dream for Hillary Clinton is, and was always, one of Hope. My grievances from the past election are behind me. My alliance, going forward, continues to be with Hillary Clinton, and she is still my Choice Presidential Candidate.
