Falling Falling Poem by Hollilouise Abbott

Falling Falling

This is it, I’m on the edge.
I’ve thought about this for too long now,
No looking back,
Don’t think about why not,
Forget it all,
No more stress,
No more pain,
No more tears can fall,
This is it, I’m closer now,
My toes can feel the open air,
I’m cold inside, I breathe
The wind is in my hair,
I hold a note, but it doesn’t explain,
What I feel inside,
This is it; I’m falling, falling,
Miles above the ground,
I try to block it out,
And I won’t listen
So there is no sound,
But now I stop,
I don’t want to fall,
I panic but it’s too late,
But then If I wake up,
It won’t be over,
Just another day I’ll hate
