Falling Rain Poem by Siphokazi Migochi

Falling Rain

The rain is falling down the window
A girl laying her head on her pillow
Watching the little droplets fall
Watching the cold and dark rainfall
It's so quiet in her small room
Quietly awaiting for her doom
The room so dark and cold
She's alone and feels so old
She's closing her eyes but not counting sheep
But falling into a never ending deep sleep
