False Hope Poem by Scot Warren

False Hope

Why would you go
And give me false hope
I was already tied,
You tightened the rope
I knew forever
Wouldn’t last
But too soon you became
Part of the past

This is such a simple poem, but it says so much and holds so much emotion. Im familiar with this type of disappointment.
